"Deciding to meet with Shirley Babior was one of the best decisions of my life...I've read self-help books on cognitive therapy for social anxiety for years and they've helped, but sometimes you need a voice outside of your head to help you and encourage you to grow....Before starting therapy even when speaking in small groups my heart would pound and throat close. Now I can speak in front of a group of 60 people without fear of anxiety or a panic attack."
